"This Customer" scopes the list to the customer picked above (default). "All Customers" shows every vessel with its customer alongside it, and always has a search box regardless of how many there are — handy when you know a vessel's name but not which customer it's under. Either way, "+ Add vessel" always adds to whatever customer is currently picked above. Click ✎ on a row to rename. Each vessel saves immediately when added — there's no separate Save button for this tab.

Files with these extensions open inline in the full-screen view instead of a download-only badge. Images always preview inline regardless of this list — most other file types (Word, Excel, CAD…) genuinely can't be shown in a browser, so this only needs to list the ones that can.

Once a picker or a Settings list (Customer/Vessel/Plant/Unit, and the Customers/Vessels/Plants/Units/Categories lists here) has more items than this, it gains a free-text search box and a clickable A–Z jump strip. Shorter lists stay a plain simple list/dropdown.
